Once
upon a time in Montrose, a rustic log cabin rested on the current
site of what is now the Butterfly Inn. Built in 1910, this large
Victorian home, named the Sherman U. Stacy house, was the centerpiece
of a huge homesteaded farm and served as a hub of action in the
old trading community. In 2002, Senada and Al Zakariasen bought the site
and spent 3 years restoring it. Now, the Butterfly Inn fulfills
their life-long dream of operating a B&B, and offering a setting
for guests to relax, get rejuvenated and to simply have fun. |
